I am writing as a member of staff at Linden Lodge School to ask for support for the Family Centre Fundraising Appeal. I have a visual impairment and and night blindness.

I will be fundraising to support this fantastic new project by attempting to do the Three Peak Challenge in 24 hours in July 2017.

The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in ‘one go’. These peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales. This is a tough event and I will be aiming to do this in 24 hours with no sleep! To do this I will be aiming to complete Ben Nevis in 5 hours, Scafell Pike in 4 hours and Snowdon in 4 hours.

Linden Lodge School provides high quality education for pupils aged 2-19 years who are multi-disabled visually impaired some of whom have profound multiple learning difficulties.
The Family Centre will give the families we support access to an unparalleled range of information and training. It will also offer them, for the first time, a fully accessible venue to share experiences with others facing the same challenges.
