In the photo is my amazing and brave friend (we went to school together!) Michelle, who together with hubby Matt have a beautiful 9 year old daughter Cassie.

Cassie has a rare brain condition, pch type 2, this controls all the motor in the brain respiratory. No child has ever sat, walked or spoke with this condition.

Treatment  Cassie receives at the Adeli Center in Slovakia, helps keep her muscles supple, helps her gain mobility skills and helps her with her cognitive abillities.

Matt and Michelle take Cassie to the Adeli Center whenever they can, but with treatment alone costing £3,078 for 2 weeks (without accommodation, flights etc), it isnt cheap.....so.......

On Sunday 23rd March 2014, I'm donning my running gear and attempting to get my very 'non running like physique' round the Brentwood Half Marathon course so I can help get Cassie another trip to Slovakia.

I know times are difficult for us all, but any little amount will honestly make a difference.

She is a beautiful, happy, brave, amazing little girl with truly inspirational parents.....please help me get her another trip to this amazing center.
