Samuel’s Basketball challenge · 16 April 2020

Hampshire Hospitals Charity is the charity supporting patients, staff and volunteers at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust across Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Alton hospitals.

Story

Samuel has been wanting to do something to raise some money for the amazing NHS during the difficult times the UK and the whole world is currently going through.

Samuel is a very loving 13 year old boy who struggles with many things in life due to his special needs.

Samuel has decided to challenge himself to shoot 100 hoops through his basketball net over the next week. This may seem something very simple, but for Samuel who struggles with coordination due to his dyspraxia and muscle strength due to hypotonia, for samuel, this is a big deal.

We found out today that sadly one of our little friends is in hospital in Winchester struggling with COVID-19. For this reason, Samuel has chosen the charity “Hampshire Hospitals”.

Samuel would really really like to raise £100 which is just £1 per hoop, so please please help him to help the Hampshire Hospitals trust.

Thank you xxxx
