In February 2013 I lost my Dad to Lewy Body Dementia. He struggled with this cruel disease for many years and as a family we sadly had to sit and watch as dementia took over his life. He was born on the 14th October way back in the 1930’s and to celebrate his incredible life (and his birthday), my two beautiful daughters and I ‘Team Miggy’ are taking part in the Cambridge Memory Walk to raise awareness about dementia, so please donate what you can to help us, and the Alzheimer’s Society, find a cure.

Until the day we find a cure, let’s make sure those affected by dementia are loved, supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
