In memory of John Collins

Story

On Saturday 17th November it will be 18 years since I lost my amazing dad, John Collins, to Leukaemia. He is always in our thoughts and will never be forgotten. I've decided to self fund a 25 mile trek across Hadrian's Wall in June 2019, which is the most remarkable Roman monument in our country. I'm trekking with some of my university mates so I'm expecting lots of laughter as we walk and camp - each of us is raising money for a charity close to our hearts. Every penny donated on my page will be going directly to Leukaemia & Myeloma Research UK to support their efforts to combat the three major types of blood cancer that affect hundreds of thousands of people.

Our vision is to be the leading UK blood cancer charity specialising in stem cell therapy. We actively support stem cell research into blood cancers, raise awareness of stem cell therapies and offer a free stem cell storage service for qualifying families, which we call Model Cell Biobank.
