**In order to extend the challenge Dave and 3 of the original superheroes will be running in the Worcester City Runs 10k on Sunday 5th September. We are hoping to take this above £1500. Thank for your generosity**
Well where do I begin.. At the end of October 2020 I received the sad news that I had a brain tumour and required surgery urgently. Fast forward 1 lengthy 10 hour surgery and A few weeks in hospital I came home, walking stick in tow, It was then its all sunk in SHIT... how in the hell do I deal with this.
My sister kindly recommended some websites and Brain Tumour support was one of them. they have helped me so much with regular calls from my support worker to zoom group meetings. Not to mention the lovely people I have met through their Facebook group.
So as you may or may not know I am probably the laziest person and recovering from surgery hasn't helped that one bit, So I have decided to take part in Superhero in the city which involves running, jogging or walking 5k dressed as a superhero. Luckily my team of runners include people who can run!
So if you fancy helping out any donation would be great and very welcome and if your in Worcester look out for any superheroes running around around 28th April.
