I have decided to run Brighton Marathon again this year (2016) AND complete 12 Half Marathons in twelve months - both as a personal challenge and also to raise money (and awareness) for amnesty uk.

Amnesty uk is an international charity who fights against the ill treatment, torture and abuse of human rights - which still takes place across the globe. This is a subject very close to me, having hand first hand experience of the abhorrent treatment that people in positions of power can inflict upon others; right here in the Uk! It is disgraceful, humiliating and barbaric - it must be stopped.

I am standing up for my own human rights, and in support of all those who have been subjected to ill-treatment - I want to raise money for amnesty uk to support their fight for a more humane world.
