Change Of Plan......... I am running the Barcelona Marathon in ONE WEEK - 17th March 2013!!! Thank you for all of your support xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Start Spreading the News.....  I'm running the New York marathon in November 2012. This is for a very special reason: to raise as much money as I can for Macmillan Cancer Support in dedication to my Mum.

As many of you know my Mum very sadly passed away in December 2011 – she lived her life to the full, was the most inspirational person I have ever known and one of the most important things was she helped others reach their potential too. In order to do this right until the end of her life we relied on the good help, support and brilliant work of Macmillan Nurses and Cancer support  – they helped and supported our family and do the same for millions of other people whose lives are effected by cancer.

The only way that I feel I can show any appreciation to their invaluable, amazingly good work is to raise as much money as possible for them... by running a very long way...

So... in preparation I have traded my vagabond shoes in for some rather swish magic running ones... and am off to the very heart of it... New York.  I hope you can join me in attending all the charity quiz nights, gig nights, treasure hunt, art exhibitions and high tea parties ahead (Will keep you posted). And of course anything you can pop in the money pot too would be amazing.

Thank you for all of your support, kind words over some hard days and generosity too.
