Over two years ago, a very special friend of mine made the decision to return home to Scotland. Her Father had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. She wanted to spend as much time with him as she could while he still remembered who she was. Leaving her lucrative career behind, she returned home with no job and a hefty mortgage to pay.
