Cycle Around the World · 16 October 2013

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The TB team of Catherine Fox, Gary Shaw, Guy Pantall, Jonathan Church, Robert Sprague, Mike Rayfield, Mark Russell, Richard Fry and Daniel Endara will be cycling at 25 Gresham Street from 9am on the 16th October until 9am on the 17th October, e.g. 24 hours!  So as well as your financial support, please drop by regularly and provide some enthusiastic moral encouragement.

The money raised by this event will be used to support those suffering from this most common form of dementia.  Alzheimer’s disease has range of debilitating symptoms including loss of memory, mood changes, and problems with communication and reasoning.  Dementia is a progressive condition, which means that the structure and chemistry of the brain become increasingly damaged over time, impacting the quality of life of the patient and everyone around them.  There is currently no cure.

Please be as generous as possible.
