Story
Loddon and Chedgrave Community First Responders (CFR) group are actively raising funds to purchase a new fully stocked Kit Bag and NMA (Mobile phone device) , in order to continue serving the needs of our community.
Loddon and Chedgrave CFRs are volunteers trained by the East of England Ambulance Service, who give up their time to respond to 999 calls on behalf of the Ambulance Service. As CFRs are local, we can attend the patients usually under 5 minutes once alerted by Ambulance Control, arriving at the scene before an ambulance can get there. Being first on scene means we are able to offer and start life-saving medical treatment earlier.
CFRs really do help save more lives, however we can only provide this vital local lifesaving service through our charitable donations, as the CFR scheme is 100% funded by public donation.
