I am 11 years old and love swimming. I was asked by my swimming instructor to take part in the Swimathon as he felt I could swim 1.5k....I decided to take on the challenge!! 

I am having my lessons once a week plus swimming extra in preparation. I will be swimming at Eastwood leisure Centre on Sunday 8th May.

Marie Curie was a huge support to my grandparents, and so raising money for them is very important to me.

Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2022 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge. On 6-8 May, over 21,000 swimmers will be heading to over 300 pools across the UK to raise money for our two amazing charity partners.Together we can really make a difference. We invite our swimmers to tell their story to help spread awareness and raise vital funds for these two incredible causes.
