Mental health is a subject very close to my heart 💔 imagine how hard it would be battling with your own mind each day? Being in a family where I’ve had to deal with mental health my whole life since I was small it’s the hardest thing in the world you can’t see it but it’s very real the heartache is real the pain is real the confusion is real My mum has schizophrenia no cure (no such thing as a brain transplant) every day for her is a battle with her own mind I’ve been there and been embarrassed but not anymore she brought me into this world she gave me life and I will live it and raise awareness till the day I die and I will be the mother she couldn’t be and live the life she couldn’t have and I will live each day being thankful for my life my family and my health because I know how lucky I am 

My mum is a resident at Avondale mental health nursing home they are charity funded and they do an amazing job I have so much respect for every single person there and they need as much help as possible during these hard times 

Mental health should not be pushed aside or forgotten about
