We raise funds to support patients at Leeds Cancer Centre

Story

As most of you know myself and my family and friends went through a difficult time last summer which resulted in me spending time in the Bexley Wing in Leeds St James after being told I had a 10lb tumour on my ovary which was suspected to be cancerous. I was one of the lucky ones and now we would like to give something back to the charity who made my treatment in Leeds possible and as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.

So to do this I've roped in a few friends and family members who are always up for an adventure and on the 19th July 2017 Jonny, Iain, Stefan, Keith, Roger and I will be setting off to cycle nearly 300 miles from London to Paris over 4 days to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Centre.

About the charity

Leeds Cancer Centre, part of the Leeds Cares family, diagnoses and treats cancer for the people of Leeds and the Yorkshire region. It is one of the largest cancer centres in the UK and provide some of the most up-to-date treatment, care and support for people with cancer.
