London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Not everyone will be aware that our Mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2020 and passed away shortly after. Mum had fended off cancer twice before but pancreatic cancer is an extremely aggressive form with more than half of people diagnosed dying within 3 months.

On October 2nd 2022 I will be running through the streets of London to help raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in Mum's memory.

One of Pancreatic Cancer UK's incredible Support Nurses helped me through the difficult time after Mum's diagnosis and provided ideas plus reassurance through the difficult start of our short journey.

Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future.

Thank you, in advance, for your support.
