Story

I'm taking on what might be my most ambitious (and arguably insane) challenge yet - the London Marathon 2026. I must be completely mad to think I can tackle 26.2 miles, but I've decided to run this race in memory of my dad and to raise funds for diabetes research and support.

As many of you know, diabetes is a cause close to my heart. It's a condition that affects millions worldwide, including many of our loved ones. By participating in this event, I hope to contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve treatment, find better management strategies, and ultimately, discover a cure.

I'm training hard and pushing myself out of my comfort zone because I believe in the importance of this cause. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Your support will not only motivate me through those tough training miles (all 26.2 of them!) but will also contribute to vital diabetes research and support services.

If you can't donate at this time, your words of encouragement are equally appreciated. And if you happen to be free on race day, I'd love to see some friendly faces cheering me on as I question my sanity around mile 20! Don’t forget to bring jelly tots and fizzy bubblegum bottles to keep me going!

Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a positive impact in the fight against diabetes.
