Longest Ever Hockey Match · 3 June 2016

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2025 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

The University of Nottingham's Men's Hockey Club and the Royal Air Force's Hockey Club have joined together to attempt to beat the world record for the longest ever game of Hockey.

The Current record is (just) 53 Hours 20 minutes, we thought we might as well aim for 55 hours and 30 minutes, so from 2:30pm on Friday 3rd June to 10pm on Sunday 5th June, we'll be down at the Nottingham Hockey Centre on the University's new pitch, aiming to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund and Help 4 Heroes.

Any donation would be gratefully appreciated!

Our aim is raise £5,000 for the two charities. With your help we could get that little bit closer to making our target.

Cheers and see you on the pitch,

UoN and RAF Hockey

P.s. We'll even have the help of a helicopter at 5pm on Friday!
