Story
26.2 Mile Virgin London Marathon completed on Sunday 17th April 2011 !!! It was a FANTASTIC day !!
Thank you to my wonderful family John, Kristle, Bradley & Courtney, Dave, Simon & Jess for their unwavering support by meeting me around various points of the course and at the finish. It was wonderful to see Jon Page at Tower Bridge and meet up with him at the Meningitis Tent at the finish
I also want to say a HUGE BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to this page as well as my Sponsor forms, which between both now stands at £1,944.
Donations can still be made to try and reach £2,000 (ONLY £56.00 to go)!! :-)
I am sure that your generosity will help Meningitis UK in their search for a cure in memory of Baby Lucie.
Thank you also to everyone for their wonderful messages of support and encouragement - they have really meant a lot.
With lots of love

I was so very deeply moved and saddened by the heartbreaking tragedy that struck Jon & Trish Page in November 2010, when they lost their beautiful Baby Daughter Lucinda, a little Sister to Francesca, at just 16 days old, when she contracted Group B Streptococcal Meningitis.
You can read Lucie's touching story at www.forlucie.com
Since that time, Jon and Trish, with the support of their family and friends, have been tireless in their fund raising endeavours for Meningitis UK, at the same time raising awareness of this terrible disease which can kill in as little as four hours!!
In an effort to support their already fantastic achievements, I will be running the 26.2 mile Virgin London Marathon on 17th April 2011 in Lucie's memory, to raise funds for Meningitis UK, a wonderful organisation that funds research into finding a vaccine to protect against all forms of meningitis and associated diseases. www.meningitisUK.org
I would appreciate all support and sponsorship for this truly worthy cause.
Please help me to help Meningitis UK eradicate this terrible disease, in memory of Baby Lucie!!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. xxx
