Bupa Great South Run 2012 · 28 October 2012 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I know the picture is nothing to do with running, but this was taken on a little 40 mile (charity bike ride) warm up last Sunday.

I have chosen to pound the pavements in the Great South Run in support of Teenage Cancer Trust who are the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer aged between 13 and 24.  They build specialist units within NHS hospitals, bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them.  They want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live and rely solely on donations to fund their vital work.  You can help transform the lives of young people with cancer by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you

Lorraine
