Story
Following the death of my brother Elliot 6 years ago, my family and I have continued to receive fantastic support from The Treehouse. I used to go to special days for siblings and I also had music Therapy sessions, which helped me a lot. Mum and Dad also received lots of support through a bereavement group and individual support sessions. We also get to go to special events for bereaved families, which help us with our grief.
From a young age, I’ve always had long hair (something I’ve come to be known by) and over the last year and a bit I’ve let it grow a lot longer than it’s ever been before. Therefore, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to shave my head to raise some money for EACH and get a much needed hair cut in the process. I am also going to donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust which is a charity that uses hair to make wigs for children, another fantastic cause.
The shave will take place at Dance East on 21st July following Musicality 2018, the Emma Dodd School of Performing Arts show that I am performing in that day.
Thank you in advance for your support, it really does mean a lot.
