London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The marathon has always been an event that I've wanted to participate in. Earlier this year my motivation to take part increased significantly when my Director, who I have worked most closely with since joining Annapurna, was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 39.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition affecting an estimated 127,000 people in the UK. Parkinson's UK is the support and research charity driving better care, treatments and quality of life, with the aim of one day finding a cure.

Running 26.2 miles will undoubtedly be one of the toughest things I've done, but the opportunity to do so for such an amazing cause will keep me going.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
