I have chosen to run the marathon after my nana entered stage 3 of Alzheimers in 2012, seeing someone you love and look up too not recognise the ones she loves and forgetting memories the one thing we all cherish the most is almost impossible. Around 50,000 people in the UK have Alzheimers, 1 new case of dementia occurs every 3.2minutes, but yet still there is no cure, only a small pill which tries to delay the effects.

Alzheimers UK have the vision of a world free from dementia help them and me reach our goal by sponsering me!
