Story
I have spent a year without colouring, crimping, straightening or curling my hair and spend more time trying to extract my hair out of my coat zip these days 😂. Rather than just cutting it off and chucking it away, I am donating it to the Little Princess Trust.
For those who know me, they know I don’t plan far ahead and there is a reason :-). When I was a teenager, one of my primary-school aged relatives was diagnosed with leukaemia. As a teen I thought I was invincible. Travelling to see this little girl and seeing her beautiful long hair falling was profound. Consequently I live in the moment and respect the time I have on planet earth.
I’m now in a position to make the experience of childhood cancer a little less stressful for other little people by donating my hair. The charity needs hair donations and money to make the wigs, so if you can, please donate. Thank you.
About the charity
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
