On the 3rd of October I will be attempting to run the 10K Road Race with my sister Michelle Thomson to raise money for the St Andrew's Hospice. 

The St Andrew's Hospice provides specialist palliative care services - the total care of patients with progressive disease and limited prognosis - and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender, or creed. It is Lanarkshire's only Specialist Hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families, and carers.

Members of our family have spent time at the hospice over the years and our mum does voluntary work 4 days a week so we feel it is time to give something back for all the hard work they do and to say thank you while helping others.

So please dig deep and donate now even if it is just a few pennies- every little helps. I will also post pictures to prove we actually turn up even if we don't finish ! lol
