In memory of Daniel Wiggins
We promote research into brain tumours to close the funding gap for brain tumours

Story

As many of you know Josh’s brother sadly lost his fight against a brain tumour at the age of 39.  I will never forget watching Finley and Tegan’s heartbreak when I told them their uncle had died.  Since then as a family we have continued raising money for the Brain Tumour Research Campaign, something that Daniel was passionate about.  We hope that the money will support this charity to continue their research into effective treatment so less and less families have to go through what we have experienced.

As a family we no longer put off what we want to do and try and fill our lives with adventures as you just never know what is round the corner.

So my next challenge is a 100k walk on the 8th and 9th Sept, starting at Putney Bridge and following the Thames Path all the way to Henley.  I will be walking all day and all through the night and hope to complete it in around 26 hours.  It’s the biggest physical and mental challenge I have ever taken on and I am hoping each step will raise money for this amazing charity.

It would be amazing if you could sponsor me   whatever you can, every penny really does count.

Thanks Louise

BTRC works with a Neurosciences team at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial College London) to promote research into the causes of brain tumours and possible new treatments, to raise public awareness of the desperate need for this research and the current lack of funding.
