SpecialEffect is a really amazing charity that supports people of all ages with disabilities to benefit from the fun and therapeutic effect of video games through assessments, equipment loans and equipment modifications.

So like a pair of aimless teenagers we will be battling insomnia, daylight and a host of virtual nasties in a sleepless 24 hour gaming session to help raise money for this awesome charity.

We have selflessly decided to eschew Valentines Day loveyness this year to hand ourselves to the other great love in our lives; Video Games! We will be attempting to do a live stream for the event so if you come in from your V-Day celebrations or general Friday night revelry and want to check we are sticking to the pledge you should be able to log on and laugh.

Let me assure you this will be no mean feat as, as well as the zombies, soldiers, werewolves, mutants, aliens and demons we will also be battling with exhaustion, boredom, looking all pasty and red eyed and the dreaded 20th hour madness to get through this.
