Story
This May, we are walking 100 miles each for Breast Cancer Now to support life-changing research and care.
We're walking in loving memory of Marie, who we lost far too soon at age 45. She was the kindest, most selfless person we knew, and her absence is felt every day by us and all of her friends, her mother, her husband and their three beautiful children.
We are also walking for a dear family friend who is currently receiving palliative care. She is another brave, inspirational woman who tackles the traumas of life with a continued determination to help others.
And, of course, we are walking with the wonderful ones we know who have undergone/are currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer in mind.
Seeing the impact of this disease on the people we love and their families has driven us to push our own limits. As we complete these miles, we plan to walk mindfully, reflecting on the fragility of life and honouring those who can no longer walk beside us.
Any donation, large or small, helps ensure no one has to face this alone. Thank you for your support!
The O’Briens xx ❤️
