Thank you for taking the time to visit the Communication and Media Society's Cake Bake Sale justgiving page. 

I believe I speak for most people when they say that they at least know someone who has been affected by a mental health problem, and how life changing it can be to the person affected. Many of those people don't know where to go and can at times feel like a burden to friends and family, leaving them feeling hopeless and alone. 

We have decided to hold a cake bake sale in order to raise awareness, particularly for young people and students, of not only Mind and Papyrus but to also prevent the alienation of individuals who are suffering from such illnesses. 

I want to welcome you all to the cake bake which will be held at the University of Liverpool's guild on March 16th, but for those who cannot make it or for those who just want to donate to the cause, please find the donation options available at the bottom of the page. As we can only support one charity per justgiving page, there is a separate link to donate both pages below.

Although our donations are being made in the name of people wanting to make a change and break the stigma attached to mental illness, our cake bake is also in memory of two very much loved individuals: Sam Killing and Greg McHugh.
