In December 2018, Grace Millane was killed by a 26 year old man in New Zealand. Her family since have set up the campaign "Love Grace", a movement in which they are donating handbags filled with all the necessary items to a number of women's refuge. This helps women who are fleeing violence.

White Ribbon is a leading UK charity in the fight to end violence against women, by educating and raising awareness, providing resources and campaigning for change. Grace Millane's family work closely with White Ribbon, which is why I am running for them.

This international women's day, I will be running 10 k to raise money for this vital fight.
