Girlguiding LaSER provides amazing opportunities each year to visit great places and volunteer in their communities. This year, I have been chosen along side 11 other girls to go to Thailand for 21 days in August 2019. 

In Thailand, we start in Singburi working in the temple school for the first two weeks teaching them sports, doing some necessary construction and teaching them English on a non-formal basis. Then for the third week we travel to Chang Rai and Chang Mai to live with the hill tribe communities helping them with construction. We will also get the opportunity to visit an elephant sanctuary at one point in our trip!

Once we return back from our expedition we will talk about our fantastic trip to other girl guides and hopefully inspire them to take part in even more opportunities that Girlguiding offer.
