Hello Everybody,

I’ve been selected to volunteer with Caudwell Children on their Destination Dreams programme this year. We’ll be taking 25 children with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families to Florida where they can create lasting memories together. The trip allows the family to have a break from hospital visits and just spend some quality time together.

Many of these families have never had the opportunity to experience a family holiday as the children’s conditions often mean that they need 24 hour care, so taking them away from medical staff and equipment is not an option. However, Caudwell Children ensure that there are volunteers and medical staff on hand throughout the trip to support the families and make the holiday possible.

Every penny that is raised goes directly to the charity as all administrative costs are covered by John Caudwell the founder of the Charity.

As a volunteer I have been set the challenge to fundraise £1,200 to support the charity, so please do sponsor me as it is a fantastic cause!!
