Dementia NI was set up by 5 people living with dementia. They knew that raising awareness and challenging the stigma of dementia was vital in empowering them, and others, to live well with their diagnosis. Dementia NI drive's positive change , your support makes that possible. Thank you.

Story

After completing Couch to 5K less than a year ago as a lockdown boredom breaker, Jane and I have decided to run a half marathon on May 1st, in order to not only challenge ourselves, but also to give back to our community. At the start of January we started our training plan and have been consistently adding distance to our runs each week. Details of our route and starting time to follow and we hope to have your support and company on the day!

I have chosen to run for Dementia NI as it is a charity that does a lot of proactive work in society and it means a lot to me.

Thank you all for you kindness and support.
