My name is Lucy and i am 5 years old. I was born with a rare condition called Tracheo oesophageal fistula and oesophageal atresia. (TOF/OA). I also have tracheo malacia, bronchiectasis, dumping syndrome and a gastrostomy button in my tummy. I like to call it my burp button as thats what its for really, to let my burps out as i had an operation to stop the acid coming out my tummy and now i cant be sick or burp. I recently was given an award for being brave and inspiring by the DotCom Childrens Foundation. It was sooo good. So after hearing all the stories on the awards night i want to do the challenge they have and raise £1000 for them to help other boys and girls who are being bullied or not treated very nice so they can have a chance at being happy like me and also i would like to raise some pennies for The Archie Foundation too as they always help my mum and me when i am in hospital and give my mum a room to sleep in so she can be with me. They also help lots of ither sick boys and girls and make the hospital more fun. Just because someone is different doesnt mean they have to be picked on. I know as lots of people think i am different as i cant always do the same as my friends and because i have my button in. I would be very happy if you all could help me reach my target. I will be doing lots of different things to raise the money from cake sales to hopefully a colour run with family and friends and my school have also said they will help me do somethings. Thank you Lucy
