Story
My name is Lucy and I am 8 years old. I had a big brother in law who had cancer in his tummy and they couldn’t save him in time. Before he died I decided to grow my hair and be very generous by giving my hair to the Little Princess Trust to make another little girl or boy who has no hair a wig because they had cancer and the medicine made their hair fall out. This will make them happy and feel better.
Joe was my big sister’s boyfriend. I have known him since I was 2. He had very warm hugs, he took me to Peppa Pig world for my 3rd birthday and he won me a big George pig. We had loads of fun having sleepovers and dancing together. I am cutting my hair off as his birthday present. I will remember him forever!!!
I have been growing my hair for over a year, using lots of conditioner and taking care of it. I have also had to eat lots of vegetables (yuck) to make it grow. So please donate loads of money. I have chosen my target as £550 as that’s how much it costs to buy a real hair wig.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
