Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a Ladies Football Team currently sitting top of the North East Regional Football League. As a team we have found the current lockdown very difficult and were thinking of ideas on how we could keep motivated until we can get back to doing what we love...playing football! We wanted to do something that would also help others during this tough period and that is when we came up with the idea of running to Wembley and back, stopping at Goytre FC and Lytham on the way back, which are two destinations that mean a lot to us as a team! As a team we received our first England Caps when playing Wales in Goytre and anyone who knows us knows we managed to bring home the Blackpool tower in 2016 (because we won’t let anyone forget), which will be our second stop at Lytham. This will bring our total miles to run during February to 857! We will track our progress on Strava and share our journey with you throughout the course of the month. 

We are raising money for Whizz-Kidz which is a charity very close to our teams hearts. Sadly, last year, we lost a big member of our football family. Daniel Miller was one of our biggest supporters and was an inspiration to us all both on and off the pitch. Whizz-Kidz played a massive part in Daniel and his families lives. This is why we are aiming to exceed a target of £3000 to give other families the same happy and full-filled life that Daniel lived.
