Hey everyone and thank you so much for dropping in on our page

I am not a runner. I seriously struggled running anything more than a few km 12 months ago but my boyfriend is an absolute BEAST runner and he dragged me out to try to inspire me to love it too.

The only way he could get me to do a half marathon was to book it at Colchester Zoo and to run it for a good cause.

Recent media has highlighted the extraordinary rate at which we are losing prime rainforest for grazing and farmland, and we must MUST protect it. I wanted to highlight a charity which uses sustainability certificates to help pay local farmers for carrying out practices in a less destructive way. 

If donating is not up your street - that's fine!!! To help support me and Tom in your own way, try choosing one of the following:

1) 24hrs of no (red) meat! 

2) Buy a tree to plant in the garden, or a houseplant :D (every little helps!)

3) Hang up the laundry instead of tumble drying next week!
