We provide opportunities for young people to feel safe, valued & inspired to achieve.

Lockdown 2.0 has led to total lunacy for Zilah, Lydia and Rachel...

Three households have become one and at 5pm Friday 13th we have decided to each take on a marathon. Not your standard marathon, but 1 mile every hour on the hour until 7pm Saturday 14th.

As if this wasn’t enough, we will also be completing 5km everyday in December. This may be a run, cycle, walk or swim!

In total that is 6 legs completing 3 Marathons in 26 hours followed by 465km’s in December.

We are doing this to raise money for the Michael Carrick Foundation, a fantastic charity that supports young people by unlocking their sporting potential, developing their skills and resilience and helping them to become positive figures in their community.

It is a tough time for everyone right now, but every penny we can give to the Michael Carrick Foundation will really help the future of the young people they are supporting.

If lockdown has also driven you to insanity and you want to complete these challenges at the same time as us, (unfortunately not together, thanks COVID) let one of us know!

About the charity

Every penny raised goes to create empowering opportunities where disadvantaged young people from across Greater Manchester and Tyne and Wear feel safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
