It's hard to believe Lyle is in his final year at Holy Trinity. Three years ago we were paired as a PEAK Mentor-Scholar pair at the start of Lyle's freshman year. Since then, we have shared too many moments to tell them all, but we will each pick out a favorite.
Bradley: I have enjoyed getting to know Lyle throughout all of the adventures we've been on and it is very difficult to pick just one. However, one of my favorites has to be during Lyle's freshman year when we went to an apple orchard in Indiana as part of a PEAK field trip. Lyle and I were just getting to know each other, and neither of us really knew what to expect. We quickly became friends on the bus ride, and proceeded to have a great time on bouncy castles and striving for the best apples at the top of the trees. I don't know what activity in particular was our favorite on the trip, but because it was the start of a lifelong friendship it will always be special to me.
Lyle: I'm so glad that PEAK provided me with a mentor like Bradley. PEAK has given Bradley and I so many enjoyable memories. We went Apple picking, rock climbing, we went to a corn maze and many other places! Because of the events that PEAK has setup, me and Bradley have gotten really close and will have a life long mentor and mentee relationship. PEAK has given all of its scholars amazing mentors and I hope that those that see this will donate so that another child could have an amazing mentor like mine.
