What could be more challenging than trekking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu! Answer, the Lares region in the Andes. On the 27th Sept, we will be trekking and camping through the remote parts of the Peruvian Andes ascending to 4,600m; visiting remote mountain communities. It will be extremely tough, basic conditions, and at high altitude, but I'm sure the exhaustion will turn to euphoria when we ascend the 3,000 steps from Sun Gate into Machu Picchu itself :) 

This will take me way out of my comfort zone and push me to new limits.

Why & what keeps me going? Simple, I’m inspired and in awe of the work Hope do to change the lives of children.
