Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Coventry Half Marathon this year (23rd March 2014) in memory of my colleague Philippa Evans who died in 2012.

The NSPCC was the natural choice as Philippa worked in childcare law nearly all of her life and co-founded Tri.x, a consultancy company providing up-to-date web-enabled manuals on good practice, government policy and legislative changes for local authorities and other care providers, originally concentrating on children's services.

I won't be doing this alone. I'll be running with Philippa's friend (and now my friend) Jen King who initiated all of this last year and now here we are with just weeks to go!
