My wife has had Lupus since the age of 16. It's an auto immune condition which can affect any part of her body, although not obvious to the eye it has a huge effect on her day to day life. Symptoms vary from patient to patient and include extreme fatigue, joint pain, light sensitivity, depression, hair loss, rashes and organ problems.  90% of lupus cases are female and there is currently no cure.

Since I have started running I have always wanted to fundraise for this particular charity and this is the occasion I have chosen. If you can contribute any amount I would be very grateful. I would like to thank Lupus UK for arranging a place in this race.
