Monday 15th April , shortly after midnight Michael Bird died . His long time partner for many of life's wonders , Jane Reed , requests that in place of any floral tributes,  we donate to the Princess Alice Hospice on Michael's behalf. In his last days , Michael was cared for by the most amazing team, and we are sure he would be delighted to know we had contributed to a similarly pain free dignified exit for those facing the end of their life . The laughs and smiles we shared with Michael the day before he died , Alexander , and Sophia by his side, would not have been possible without the care he received . Please do give generously.
