We provide specialist palliative care to comfort patients and their families

Story

We are doing the Nightingale House Midnight Walk in memory of our colleague Morag Browning. Morag was the Tax Specialist at Coxeys for the last 40 years, respected by her clients and a friend to us all. Morag would go out of her way to help is whether it was the gardening or cooking advice or upholstering our chairs. In her final months, Nightingale House was a huge support to her and her family as they fought the cancer which came as a huge shock to us all. Nightingale House was one of the charities which Morag supported regularly and money was given in her memory at the Celebration of her Life.

For over 25 years staff here at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.

About the charity

Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2024 it will cost £4,900,513 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £13,389 per day.
