October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Please join us in service to women in our community, and give hope to the 2000+ Missouri and Southern Illinois women and families facing a breast cancer diagnosis, financial stress, and uncertainty this year.

Story

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month!

Chief Bill Carson is pleased to announce that the Maryland Heights Police Department will mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month by, Thinking Pink and wearing a special pin on our uniform shirts.  Officers who contribute a minimum donation of $20.00, can wear a Thin Pink Line U.S. commendation bar, throughout the month of October.  The proceeds raised will go directly to Gateway to Hope, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, and emotional support to breast cancer patients who need it most so that they can focus on healing and getting well.  This is in hopes to raise awareness and acknowledge the fight of all those who are
affected by breast cancer.
