In June 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

My dad has had a long battle with Prostate Cancer and received a terminal diagnosis this year. He has been supported by a wonderful Macmillan nurse, who has also provided our family with much needed support and advice at this difficult time. I will be walking this walk for him in particular but also for all the other loved ones who are fighting cancer.

I will be walking along with my fellow team mates as part of 'Alne Angels', an amazing group of mums who will hopefully get me over the finish line still smiling!

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
