World Team Challenge · 3 November 2006

Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Story

In June the Merrill Lynch Ladies came 20th overall and top female team in the Microsoft UK Challenge in Ayrshire, Scotland, thereby qualifying to compete against the best corporate 'intelligent sport' teams in the world at the World Team Challenge in Malta in December.  Once again we will be hoping that our fitness of both mind and body and our effective team dynamic will bring us success.  We expect to run, mountain bike, canoe, solve problems, engineer contraptions, strategise and think fast to adapt to challenges and surprises.  And get very worn out doing do!

The World Team Challenge will once again this year be supporting the work of the registered charity ‘MGB Foundation for Dreamflight’, providing children with terminal illness with, what is in many cases, their final and only holiday. The MGB Foundation are a truly dedicated team and we sincerely hope that you will be able to help us support this very worthwhile cause.  And the money we raise will give us a headstart on the leaderboard too, so dig deep for the team!
