When I was 5, I suffered from Meningitis and I am very lucky to be alive today. because of an experimental drug I was given at the time I was lucky to make a full recovery.

For those who know me well, exercise and me do not go very well in the same sentence. but as my partner Mel(she is running for charity as well) and her brother are doing this run I thought why not break my usual trend of drinking copious amounts of Dr Pepper and eating quite unhealthy to actually do something that will benefit my fitness but also to run for a good cause that has a real meaning to me.
