Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Our Mum sadly passed away from dementia with Lewy bodies in September 2016 after a 7 year battle with the disease.

Mum's illness profoundly changed my life and I am now passionate about raising awareness about dementia to help reduce stigma and promote a dementia friendly society - http://justbedementiafriendly.com/

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money to help find a cure, for a world without dementia. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
