Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

On the 20th December 2014 Charlotte, aged 6, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. After a 3 day stay in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, she managed to get home to spend Christmas with her family!

After watching last year's Great North Run she has decided to raise money for Diabetes UK to help with research for better treatments for people with Diabetes, so this year along with her two sisters, mum and auntie they are going to run the Junior & Mini Great North Run.

So please dig deep and help the girls raise as much money as they can!!
