Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I am incredibly proud to be fundraising for Parkinson's UK.

They are an exceptional charity. Not only are they funding pioneering research in order to find a cure for the disease, but they are also supporting all those affected with Parkinson's.The day-to-day management of the disease is tough, and the symptoms change regularly. The help that Parkinson's UK gives is vital for supporting both the physical and mental health of those who have been diagnosed. This cause is especially important for my family. I truly believe that we will cure Parkinson's, and this will sustain me through my training!

It's been a bit of a whirlwind so far (thank you to my IT band) but I finally feel like I'm in a position to power on, having completed my first half marathon! Any donations you can give will spur me on as I increase my mileage. Most importantly, it will continue the enormously important work of Parkinson's UK.

Thank you for your support 🥰
